2026年1月30日，全国人大宪法和法律委员会召开会议，根据全国人大常委会审议意见、代表研读讨论中提出的意见和各方面的意见，对生态环境法典草案作了进一步修改完善。全国人大宪法和法律委员会认为，经过全国人大常委会多次会议审议、广泛征求意见和反复修改完善，生态环境法典草案充分吸收各方面的意见建议，已经比较成熟。据此，形成了提请本次会议审议的《中华人民共和国生态环境法典（草案）》。
